I’ve contributed two articles to “Forschung und Lehre” (Research and University Teaching), the magazine of the Deutsche Hochschulverband (German Association of University Professors and Lecturers).
The first article deals with my experience of starting a new position in Jerusalem under the shadow of the Hamas attack on October 7 and the subsequent Israeli military response (see PDF below). The second contributions explores my doubts and struggles on how to develop a coherent position in the light of constant demands on social media to take a clear stance.
